Being Monday, I figured today was a good day to talk winning mindset and I have something to share that has made a massive difference for our Infomarketer’sZone clients as they create and grow their online information and product businesses.
In 99.99% of the cases, our subscribers, customers and coaching clients come to the table looking to make a full-time income ($100K or more) by launching their own internet businesses and often they are looking to produce an information product – book, ebook, course, membership site etc….
In short, they have…
- Huge passion for being successful
- Some ideas on HOT niche markets
- A pretty good background understanding of how money is made online
- Some initial training and sometimes an initial go at making money online with their own business
- A vision of how much money they will make through their pending venture
- A definite ability to both plan and execute on their vision
Seems like everything they need right?
YOUR VALUE, YOUR GIFT AND YOUR REWARD
There is something missing that makes a big difference in how engaged their market will be with them, how much success they will achieve and how much potential their business has to make it really big.
That factor is “Value To The Market” which can also be described as what GIFT will you give your market in exchange for their adoration?
You see, to really create word-of-mouth, engage your market to the point where they become champions of your cause, and build momentum around your products and services your market must be crystal clear on the value you bring to the table.
So it’s fine to think about what niche market, topics and products you will use to launch your online business, but even more critical than anything else is understanding what VALUE by way of a GIFT (I’m not talking about giving away your product necessarily here…by GIFT I mean what information will you give your market that they will view it as a gift even if they pay you $100, $1000 or $10,000? )
Try flipping the way you think about your internet business to the point where you think mainly about the value you will bring to your customer….
This value should guide all of your messaging, marketing, list-building, product planning and creation, operations and customer support/post-sale follow-up.
Thinking of your business as a GIFT you are giving to your market is a way to ensure that you are focused on the right priorities…not only doing the “right” thing from a personal standpoint, but also from a profit standpoint.
NOW LET’S HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS?
