If you are building a business and NOT communicating daily with your market, you have to ask why?
- You don’t understand the value
- You can’t think of what to write (aka…you don’t know what they want to read, watch or hear)
- You don’t know exactly who your market is
- Can’t seem to find the time
- It’s always something near the bottom of your “To Do” list
Let’s deal with the first reason…you don’t understand the value:
- Content brings you traffic which brings you publicity, credibiilty and sales – PERIOD!
- Your market MUST know you exist every day. So much noise, they must hear from you each day
- Top of mind…you want to be top of mind to your consumer, you can’t do that posting once a week
- Content creation is the #1 most important part of your business – from content comes your products, your relationship with your market and your profit!
As for the other reasons, they really all come back to the same underlying challenge don’t they…if you are not communicating with your market each day (blog post, social networking, email, posting a video, on the phone, teleseminar, seminar, etc…) – you simply are not trying hard enough to know and become an active participant in your market.Â
Being active in your market is what WILL give you your unfair advantage…you will be an insider, see things from an inside perspective and at the same time you are stepping up and LEADING your market – they will follow if you show the desire to lead.Â
Now, will you start communicating daily with your market TOMORROW?
