You may recall back in my post "Want An Example of A Great eBook Business" I mentioned a book called "Myspace Music Marketing" from Bob Baker.
I can’t recall if I came across Bob’s book from a press release or just searching the internet – in any case I immediately new that his site was professional and that he understood how to discover hot niche markets, take action to develop his own products, and turn up the market.
After a brief trip to England this last week (the reason for a few days lapse in my blogging), I noticed a reference back to my blog from someone named Bob Baker – indeed I generally get between 5-10 of these link backs each day – my blogging platform WordPress keeps track of them for me and lets me see who is linking back.
Sure eough, I get to the traceback of Bob and find this message where he gives me credit for not only mentioning his book – but it turns out he actually remembered seeing some of my content back a year ago which turned out helpful on his road to publishing.
So, for a few minutes work, my blog posting referencing Bob’s Myspace eBook page, suddenly word spreads to all of Bob’s visitors – and the endorsement is nice too!
I only point to this example as one of many that occur each and everday demonstrating the power of blogging – the techniques for which I outlined in my latest video called "Make Money Blogging"
Turns out Bob has some other great resources over at his "Full-Time Author Blog" – now I’m a fan, and suggest you subscribe to his blog feed as well, some terrific tips and information.
