When you consider writing your own ebook, report or other information product, chances are you try and stay away from topics that already seem higly competitive right?
In other words, if you are considering personal development, you know there are already dozens of books, courses, ebooks and other information products on the topic, so you quickly discard the potential of that topic in favor of something a little less competitive.
But wait a minute, who is it that are buying these dozens of ebooks titles on that topic?
Enthusiasts right?
As consumers, we know that we often buy multiple products when we’re interested or “desparate” for information about something don’t we?
If you are passionately interested in golf, do you buy just 1 golf education tape or book?
If you are fascinated by self-improvement, chances are you have more than 1 self-improvement book in your shelves.
As marketers, we tend to quickly forget our own consumer behavior.
Fact is, when you are ready to create and market your own information products, market to the enthusiast who you know will ALWAYS be looking for the next book, ebook or information on that topic.
Say YES, to the topic, then move on to identifying your own unique angle on that topic making your product the next one the enthusiasts MUST have.

you can never have to many self help (improvement books). there are so many ways and areas of self improvement for example affirmations, goals setting, time management, communications skills etec. the list is endless.
so you are right, write that book and market it and don’t worry because people that are interested in self improvement are interested in self improvement.
