In 2006, the term self-employed, home-based business and entrepreneur fell out of favor being replaced by the term Microbusiness which covers a much wider spectrum of businesses from 1-person retail, manufacturing and internet marketing businesses.
USA Today summarized the intense growth in microbusinesses in 2006 at 27% outpacing all other types of businesses – especially large.Â
Interestingly, people from all sorts of backgrounds are starting their own part-time microbusinesses, with many turning their part-time venture into a full-time enterprise within a year!
You have lawyers starting small, specialty online reatail sites, entrepreneurs from Lebanon starting web-based ventures in the face of massive violance not to mention the thousands upon thousands who have developed their own information products (books, booklets, ebooks, digital audio and video courses, membership sites, etc…)
Our own coaching program was filled in 2006 with people who saw the value in creating their own “How To” infoproduct and market it online for profit leading to not only their own full-time income, but providing a solid foundation for higher profits in their business in 2007.
Will you start your own microbusiness in 2007?Â
Join us over at InfoMarketersZone where we turn dreams and goals into reality for those who want to start their own venture online.
