It’s funny, when you are working a full-time job, stressed out, frustrated by controlling,  idiot managers and bosses it’s easy to think of working at home as your own boss as being the solution to your health and stress problems…but is that really the case?

I was speaking with a fellow information publisher who recently went full-time working from home at their online business and after 3-months found out that his blood pressure is higher than ever, he has gained weight and is fighting at least temporary depression.

How could this be, isn’t it everyone’s dream to remove stress from their lives by earning a living working from home as an entrepreneur?

Working for yourself in any capacity requires discipline – for many people their job has been that discipline transitioning to being your own boss suddenly puts that responsibility into your own hands.

First thing is to make sure you really love what you are doing – many people really do want to be their own boss, but they start a business that is not in alignment with what they really want to be doing which causes more stress leading to health problems, poor diet, etc…

Second, you need to schedule in regular exercise – it not only has benefit for body but also mind.  After a 30-minute workout, my focus is so much better and productivity for the next few hours is terrific.

Third, I’ve learned a great deal about keeping the nasties in your system under check – yeasts, parasites, lots of things that can easily get out of whack which can directly lead to other health problems including retaining weight.  If you do eat properly and exercise but seem to be losing the health battle then chances are you have some "house cleaning" to do.

Fourth, diet is important.  I like to pump myself up mid-morning with a fruit smoothie, sometimes again in the afternoon – I find that keeps me from snacking on bad stuff and keeps my brain and body in top form.

Fifth, about 10-years ago I discovered meditation and more recently – yoga.  Major digestive issues and low energy ceased to be a problem after a month of daily 20-minute meditations.  After suffering with major bloating and acid reflux/indegestion for the first 30-years of my life, none of this has been a problem for the last 10-years since incorporating meditation into my daily routine.

I don’t have it all figured out, still drink too much coffee and have the odd bout of stress that interrupts my disciplined routine, but I would say 90% improvement over past and most of the discipline is automatic now.

I’ve just written a book about my health experiences including some major improvements in stress, weight loss, energy and overall health when hitting a crisis point about 12-years ago.

If you are suffering from high stress, low immune system (catching colds and flus constantly), digestive problems such as bloating, indigestion or acid reflux, high blood pressure, dizziness and low energy then get a hold of ‘Beyond Greatness’ as it shares with you major health issues I beat at age 28 – similar issues that the majority of our population now struggle with for their entire lives were overcome in just a few weeks.

Bottom line is, you can turn working for yourself into both optimal health and wealth by following the right plan.
