There are only a handful of tools and services I have used my ENTIRE time (over 10-years!) building and growing online businesses, one of those services is my autorresponder service from Aweber
Frankly, I would never have been able to build my businesses to the near the levels they are at today without an autoresponder, and over the years I have tried others in parallel with Aweber, but have yet to find one as efficient and useful.
Here are a few of the reasons they have been great for our online businesses:
- Email delivery rates have been consistently among the highest out there…great email marketing means nothing if your emails don’t get through. Other companies have had periods (some even been put out of business) because they could not control their user base and were blacklisted by spam agents ensuring that your emails have very poor delivery rates
- Scale with my business…when I started out I had a few thousand subscribers on two lists…I now have hundreds of thousands across more than a dozen lists…all the while the service remains just as effective
- Easy forms – a major part of running opt-in campaigns is being able to integrate your autoresponder into forms on your blogs, squeeze pages, sales pages, opt-in pop-up boxes, etc…Aweber make this simple, provides their own form maker and pretty much integrates with every plugin or program out there
- Great management and stats…Aweber is about as simple as it gets for setting up lists, generating your content and email follow-ups, scheduling and broadcasting all while providing excellent, granular reporting on how your email campaigns have done
One of the areas that remained frustrating with Aweber was important large lists of contacts you have from other programs in various different file formats (.txt, .csv, html,. etc)
Happily – they just announced changes to make this process both much easier (drag-and-drop) as well as more scalable and fast.
So, just one more reason to consider using Aweber as your autoresponder moving forward.
