Why not write your own book and either self-publish it or test the waters with traditional publishers?

The most common objections are…

1. I am not an expert

2. I don’t know what to write about

3. I don’t have enough time

We work with people from every background, experience and ability to turn their dreams of writing a book into reality over at InfoMarketer’sZone – I have to tell you write off, these factors have NEVER prevented anyone from finishing a hot selling book or ebook.

Sure, the fear of them has…but when you get down to business and apply the repeatable principles of writing a successsful book, these 3 factors really mean nothing.

Case in point – here is an interesting blog post from an upcoming book writer Nick Leiber who is finishing up a book on Venture Capital funding for entrepreneurs.

Why did he write the book?  Based on his experience, he couldn’t find the perfect source of information, so he recognized a gap – the first step in writing a successful book

Did he have enough time?  His wife wondered, but in the end, he found it and the book will be out soon

Was he an expert?  No.  Certainly he brings some level of first hand knowledge to the table since he has been through the process of setting up his own business, but he admits that he went to several “experts” and interviewed them as part of the preparation for the book.

You can do the exact same thing.  Take any experience you have been through or that you recognize as an area of opportunity and focus some basic research on finding advice, steps, systems and methods that can help others solve the challenges you know need to be addressed.

So I have to ask again, your own book – why NOT?
