Listen carefully, you may be able to hear the sound of fingers tapping the keyboard as your neighbor secretly waits for their kids to fall asleep, walks down to their office and lets their sould pour out onto pages of their favorite Wordprocessing program.

That’s right, they are sneaking 15-minutes here and there to finally live out there dream of writing a book.

It’s not like the dream is new – since the advent of the printing press many have had the inner desire and passion to see their name of the front  of their own book.

Perhaps it’s a way to toy with immortality – after all, our books will last long after we are gone from this earth.

Maybe it’s a way for many of us to capture more prestige and attention – something that is becoming harder and harder to do in today’s busy society.

Whatever the reason, the exciting fact is that today (unlike 10-years ago) more dreams are actually turning into reality.

There is a home-based, bedroom book writing revolution happening today, and many people are enhancing their lives in ways previously unthought of.

Take the many members we have over at InfoMarketer’sZone who have successfully transitioned from government workers, bankers, customer service representatives, retirees, students and unemployed people into professional information product business people by writing a book, home study course, or other training programs.

They are amazed at the ability they now have to control their creativity, energy, and financial situation – a nice byproduct of living out their dream to write a book.

Indeed, stories are common of businesses that are seeing the influx of self-publishers and first-time book writers that range from hobbyists to serious book sellers.

Here’s one titled “There’s a book in us all – Now Get writing” that talks of a small, local design and printing company in Worcester England who have seen a dramatic increase in the number of self-publishing projects they are working on – more than double in the last few years.

Their business has gone from being based mainly on stationary to more than 80% support for self-publishers.

“Their self-published books include memoirs, walking guides, travel, novels, nature books and hobbies.” the article mentions noting just a small sampling of the diverse projects today’s self-published book writers are tackling.

So, next time you see a bright light on in your neighbors window early in the morning or late at night, chances are they are busily living out their dream to write a book – a step that very well may change their lives forever.
