What if you could write a book this summer and be selling it online by the fall?
Could you use some extra money coming in to help with end of year expenses?
Imagine what setting yourself up with a top selling book would mean as you head into the busy buying seasons of Fall and Winter AND what that would mean to realizing goals of operating your own six-figure business online this time next year.
When I sat down to write a book that turned out to be the main portion of Ultimate Information Entrepreneur’s Success Package, it took me less than 1-month to complete. Granted, I had taken 2 months of parental leave from my job at the time allowing me to spend a couple hours each day on the project, but then again, I had our second newborn child at home with a wife who had a rough C-section birth.
Since then, I’ve written several other books, report and created various audio and video information products and all have been well under 4-weeks of development – some as little as a day or two.
There are 3 distinct phases you go through when writing your own book or information product to sell online…
1. Choosing a Market and a Topic. Many people are good at picking a general market, but falter in their ability to uncover topics within these niche markets that people are highly passionate about. Specifically, people have desires to gain prestige, attract friends or the opposite sex, improve their financial situation, raise their children well, look and feel good, be happier, etc… Link your marketplace to helping them achieve more of these goals and you will have a winning topic.
2. Getting Your Product Finished. Whether your goal is to write a book, produce an audio series, develop your own DVD or online video website or home study course you will not make one cent until you get your product finished. For some people, getting the first words written are the challenge, for others it’s sticking to their plan and still others have trouble wrapping up projects sitting on dozens of half-written books or courses. The key to getting started AND getting through the entire development cycle when you write a book or develop any information-based product is to organize your material in terms of an outline much as you would if you were teaching a class or course. Then, you can fill in the blanks yourself or outsource the actual writing in very short time.
3. Launching and Marketing Your Products. It’s not enough to have created a terrific product and then limp out of the gate marketing it so that 99% of your target audience doesn’t even know that your product exists. Instead, you need a plan for creating a highly effective website and email marketing plan, a press release and publicity plan, affiliate marketing plan along with various advanced techniques for building momentum and anticipation for your products.
Any one of these steps can hold you up and prevent you from finishing your goal to write a book and market it effectively online. By learning the strategies and tips that information entrepreneurs use to quickly and easily accomplish each of the 3 critical steps they can write a book and be selling it online in as little as a few weeks. Even with a full-time job and busy life, you really could write a book this summer earning your first profits before the end of the year.
