We’ve talked about it before, trying to find (or even guess) at the size of the eBook market is a real challenge.  There’s no real advantage for any one group to track these types of statistics.

Traditional publishers track traditional published book revenues, vanity publishers track vanity published numbers and the same goes for print on demand publishers such as Booksurge or LSI.

To make matters more complicated, ebooks are sold in various places – through Amazon, independent online publishers, and many, many more from independent online publishers selling through their own websites like you and I.

In my case, I have dozens of different digital information products bringing in income every month, none of this is formally tracked.

The system we teach for others to follow in writing and marketing their own ebooks and digital information products has put through thousands of aspiring infoproduct publishers while the newer video training program has seen hundreds take advantage in it’s early days.

Tracking formal ebook sales through 12-15 trade publishers shows millions in sales with a steep growth curve betwen 2006 and today – you can see one representation of that growth here.

One could easily guess at the vast independent bodies selling 10X that amount or even much more when alternate forms of information products are taken into account making the number and growth rather staggering.

Without a doubt, we are in an era when writing and publishing your own ebook, report or book is well within your reach – with the only obstacles being your own enthusiasm and action along with a strong program to help teach you each step of the way.
