Have you created your own deeply personal and emotional reasons that drive you to succeed in your own business?

I don’t mean the "I want a new car, a new boat, a new house" sort of stuff…I mean the really deep-down, highly emotional, personal and blood-pumping stuff that turns your quest for a highly successful online business into a personal mission – a life or death lifeline that you simply MUST have.

Don’t have a list that you can pull out of your drawer or recite off the top of your head?

Then STOP!!

Before you type another letter, read another email, watch another video or even take another breath – sit down and do some serious thinking about what you really HAVE to achieve before you leave this life and WHY you want to achieve it so badly you can taste it.

This isn’t crap…this is powerful stuff that separates top entrepreneurs, athletes and celebrities from all of the other also-rans.

This is gut-check time…some of these motivations may be so deep down that you will have trouble recognizing them.  Go back to your childhood and remember the dreams you used to have…what did you think about doing or achieving when there were no limits?

MY LIST OF MUST HAVE’S

I’m going to list my list of reasons that drive me so that I can’t wait to get out of bed in the morning – can’t wait until I can start making progress on my business so I can inch closer to my goals and achievements.  These reasons may seem compelling to you…or they may not – doesn’t matter.

I work at InfoMarketer’sZone or InfoProductCreator or one of my other dozens of sites because by making them better I know I can change people’s lives, achieve greater success and teach my children the true meaning of adding value in exchange for dollars so they may someday achieve the same amazing results in their lives.

The fact is they are highly personal, highly emotional and incredibly inspiring for me…they sit right beside my computer, beside my bed and inside my head – oh and I always carry a copy inside my wallet for when I travel.

1. Fun and enjoyment – having a blast is goal #1!  So many people give up on having fun when they make the decision to work.  Not every single task needs to be fun, of course we sometimes have to do things we don’t enjoy – but most of it should be when you align your business with your passions, interests and strengths.

2. Avoid being held back by some bonehead who spends his entire life playing politics and couldn’t last more than 2-minutes if he was cut free from his weekly paycheck…

3. Create something brand new where there was nothing before. When I leave this earth I want to have had a BIG impact on my kids, my entire family, my community and the lives of those I impact through my business.  My business is a major channel for reaching out to those around me in life.

4. To help people achieve 1-3 above.  I have 3 different niche markets each of which can help people improve their lives in amazing ways – what a rush…

5. So I can show (by actions and results) my 8-year old son that running his own business is the best direction to head despite what all of the schools are going to tell him.

6. Only way I can do what I want, when I want – self-sufficiently.

These are my reasons – yours should be different and worded exactly as you feel them.  Think about them – write them out.  Even if this takes you 7-days, the benefit you get toward driving your motivation and actions will be more than worth the effort.
