Can you honestly say you haven’t gone through a point (or multiple points) in your life where you have asked yourself "what will it take to be really happy?"  What a great book topic – and indeed there are multiple books, audios, CD’s, videos and other information products that demonstrate this "How to be happy" market is certainly a lucrative one.

Why not write a book about this topic?  Someone has – Rima Rudner, (cousin of comedienne Rita Rudner) recently released "Choose to Be Happy: A Guide to Total Happiness" where she applies her considerable life experience and some great research into the latest (and one of the best) "how to be happy" guides released to date.

Take a look at this brief, but interesting interview with Rima, from an aspiring writer or information entrepreneur’s perspective, here’s some tips you may be interested in…

  • Rima found the book free of challenges and easy to write – she attributes this to "if something is right for you, it just feels good and happens naturally"  There is certainly a lesson for any of us considering topics for our next ebook or information product
  • Rima’s research focused on scientific studies which really helps give her book solid credibility and foundation – plus it’s simple to research studies online or in local libraries these days, this information is mainly freely available to anyone
  • Notice that she gives credit to a major researcher on happiness and then convinces him to write the forward of her book – a very common approach used by lesser known authors to really draw credibility and attention t their information
  • She "wrote from her heart" not with huge sales in mind, but a pasion for her topic
  • Pay special attention to her comments on turning this one ebook into a "franchise" of titles – she is clearly on the cusp of turning a one-product business into a full-blow information publishing enterprise, now that’s exciting!

Care to take a look at Rima’s listing on Amazon – it really is a great book, but more, we can learn lots from reading her profile and following some of the tips she shares through her interview.
