I’ve been doing some travelling the last few days, connecting from airports and hotels, many of you know how challenging it is to maintain your normal schedule when you are racing around, getting spotty internet access in different hotels – so….
When I logged in yesterday to check my messages, I had dozens and dozens from great readers of this blog alerting me to the fact that one of the sites I referenced in some previous blog posts on writing was down.
Sure enough, I logged in and it was down. Took a few minutes to create a fix (turns out by internet provider had upgraded a script which impacted a split testing script i was using on that page – voila, the result was a cryptic error message instead of the page I intended people to see)
Sometimes I get the impression I’m writing to myself, though I know this blog gets an incredible amount of traffic and has a constantly growing subscriber base – but yesterday was special to see that so many people responded – cared enough to point out the error.
Sorrry I can’t get back to all of you individually, there are just too many – but a collective thank you to ALL of you who emailed and commented – I have new faith that people are really reading what I write…
