Just by way of a rough survey, at least 9/10 people we have join us over at InfoMarketer’sZone consider themselves either stuck or at least spinning their tires in terms of making progress toward their business goals.
Being stuck is NOT a good place to be…
- You fall behind your competition
- You lose credibility in your market
- You fail to attract others who could help you rise faster and farther
- You lose confidence and begin to doubt your own ability to succeed
- It makes it so much harder to catch up once you do hit your stride

There can be many reasons for WHY you became stuck in the first place:

In the end, it matters less that you understand WHY you are stuck and more that you have a way to get unstuck FAST

For me that method is taking action.
What happens if you just don’t want to get out of bed in the morning to face the day?
You have two options, either you get out of bed anyway by putting one foot in front of the other (taking action) or you choose to take any other action that results in you staying in bed…which all lead to the same result – you get nothing done.
The same thing goes for your business.
If you are stuck with not knowing if your idea is a good one, then take action by putting it out there in front of customers and letting them educate you. The worst thing that can happen is that they reject it, tell you what’s wrong with it and give some ideas on how you may tweak it to make it better.
Either way, you still walk away with massive progress.
You see, when you decide to take action in the face of doubt, uncertainty, confusion and disillusion – only one of 3 things happen:
- You succeed wildly – now you know and can scale and grow your business FAST
- You have limited success – while this isn’t a home run, you have enough feedback to know how to possibly turn your limited success into something bigger and although you may have to do further testing, you have a definite direction
- You fail with feedback – we all learn more from our setbacks and failures than we do from our successes IF you know enough to look for opportunity behind the failure. Ask, listen, pay attention and don’t let your ego get in the way and you will learn what you need to turn a failure into a future success
Given that you win no matter what the outcome is, taking ACTION in your business is never a bad idea. When compared to the alternative of worrying, stalling, planning, and delaying – action is the definite winner.
