Intuitively we all recognize the fact that we buy products, services and information based on emotional desires rather than needs or logical arguments.
But what does that REALLY mean for you to turn this piece of simple knowledge into practical business success advice?
If we always purchased solely based on need or logic we wouldn’t have collections of books, music, anything but the most basic car out there, Ipod’s, televisions, or pretty much anything else you find around you right now.
So we buy based on emotions…what does that mean from an understanding of selling products or services?
Why do people by? Why will people buy from you?
At first, people buy from you because it FEELS right…in other words, they buy based on believing what you and your business believes in MORE than what your products and services do.
Once you achieve a certain critical mass, others will buy simply because they want what other people have.
So the key to building critical mass is to convince early adopters (read CHAMPIONS) into your corner and help you move your products to critical mass. To convince the early adopters to buy and recommend, they are especially emotional buyers looking to buy based on it FEELING right…believing what you believe.
Top sellers in every category get there by creating a movement of champions who help take them to critical mass.
