Of course on the eve of Independence Day and with the cleanup well underway from this past weekend’s Canada Day festivities – we should be talking about how great our lands are, and indeed freedom is an amazingly powerful concept, but still…there is one aspect of many people’s lives that are still in a very sad state of affairs.
Not that we have to have a news outlout tell us, but as a society we are growing increasingly smothered by a mountain of debt – and for those who continue to work long hours at unfulfilling, stifling, frustrating jobs – it can sometimes get to be too much.
According to this recent article…http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060704/ap_on_bi_ge/credit_card_delinquencies_5it’s about to get even worse.
With the high cost of energy, growing inflationary pressures and higher interest rates, it seems that hands are digging deeper into our pockets all the time.Â
If you don’t have a plan that beats the 2-3% pay increase you may be seeing this year, then you continue to fall behind – meaning it will take you longer to retire, create more stress on you are your family, give you less money to relax when you need it the most, and leaves you less to spend on your family’s future.Â
It’s times like these when I look back on my decision to create my own information product marketing business as a divine gift from above – it has allowed me to stay ahead of the game, to build more wealth, to give more away, to plan better for my family, to spend more leisure time and lessen the stress in our lives all while the overall economic picture gets worse and worse.
It doesn’t matter what sort of business you start – but the article above should be all you need to read to know that you MUST come up with a plan B (or C, D, or E…) and it must mean that YOU control the fruits of your labor.Â
Its what we all do over at InfoMarketersZone – and let me tell you, its a pretty empowered group of people. Not power in the traditional corporate or political sense, but power in the sense of freedom, control over our creativity and time – now isn’t that what Independence Day is all about?
