I have lost count of the number of questions that come from people that goes something like this…

How does a Newbie like me get traffic to my blog (or website?)”

OR —

I have a website about X, Y or Z — but nobody is buying anything – what do I do?”

COME ON!

I used to have a hockey coach that would look me dead in the eye and say “COME ON” whenever I had a shift where I just didn’t have my head in the game.

So, I have to say it here – COME ON!

Making big money on the internet starts with Common Sense!

Seriously, in my experience online when I have stuck with common sense I have made money, when I have strayed from common sense, then I don’t…that simple.

How does the internet work?

Where do people go to find information and things to buy?

Two places mainly right –

1. Search engines and…
2. Social networking…

Now, think about the mindset of your customer when they go to search for the product that you will be selling (how are you monetizing this by the way??)

It all starts with the desire in the market, then flows through the product or service you are offering (either your own or as an affiliate or CPA front-end) which then guides you to the keywords and context you need to rank for.

So, to make BIG profit online here’s exactly what you do…

a) Identify a desire or need for a product (either to answer questions with infoproduct or physical product like printer ink)
b) Then you find a good product source that allows you to make money selling into that market (or create your own product)
c) You pull in targeted prospects by aligning your offer with the keywords and social networking context people use to search for those products

That’s IT!

Anything outside of this formula is Bullsh**  – plain and simple!

Once you have a to c in place, then you begin the daily exercise of communicating with your market via content (articles, blog posts, videos, press releases, etc…) and converting them into buyers (sales funnel, landing pages, sales pages)

Simple formula – YES.

Understanding there are some tricky turns in the road, tools and techniques that still need to be learned to put this plan into action…we have Infomarketer’sZone to help guide you (and plug you into an expert mentor’s forum) every step of the way.

Some COME ON…there are no more excuses, only plans and actions.
