Hi Jeff
Thank you for your amazing information within your DVD presentation.
The steps required for success within the info product creation that you have just presented within your video, & what is required to do some homework so that one does not waste time on something that may not work, & your methods on marketing are absolutely golden, now, after 4 years of publishing, I am stepping out of my DIY niche for the time being & focusing on what you have shown, so thanks again.

What if you already have a website and want to add products to it? For example http://www.shooptc.com? I am creating a Leadership Essentials product. Would it be best to have a website like http://www.leadershipessentials.com or is http://www.shooptc.com/leadershipessentials.com ok?
Hi Dale – thanks for your comment. Your question is a great one as most people who dive into writing their own ebook or infoproduct creation end up with less results because they didn’t know how to uncover demand properly in the first place. People assume it is the niche that matters (ex. weight loss, personal development, career, parenting, etc…), but that’s not the case. In pretty much any niche out there you will find opportunities, the key is to figure out an urgent enough desire to either achieve something or reduce pain for people to pay money. In terms of what you can do with up-front work, certainly looking at ebooks, books and courses that are selling best in your niche market will give you very good clues to what demand is leading people to spend their money. So, for example, if you are considering weight loss (just an example) and you find the top ebooks and books on Amazon are targeting belly fat…then that tells you people are looking for very specific solutions to getting rid of weight around their middle…target that niche with a solution and you are guaranteed to have a top seller. Similar technique with any niche, find out what is leading people to buy the top products and you are halfway there. We share several advanced techniques inside http://www.infomarketerszone.com but using Clickbank and Amazon are good places to start.
Emilie – great question. What you really want to do is some keyword research to uncover one of the top keyword/phrases you believe people will use to discover your solution – use the Google Keyword Suggestion tool I mentioned in the video. Ideally you create a website (as you mention leadershipessentials.com – except hopefully you can register a domain that has your chosen target keyword in it as Google uses this as a major factor in ranking sites) and then create your sales page with some basic on page SEO techniques to help get your page ranked for your chosen keyword. You can then link back to this site from your existing Shooptc.com. I would also consider strongly starting a blog if you don’t have one so that you can target additional relevant keywords in blog posts and articles that then link back to your new website helping draw traffic to your sales page. Hope this makes sense, if not, post another question or reply.
