Rich Schefren's Strategic Marketing push hit the
internet marketing waves hard this week...
But...should we pay attention?
While Rich makes a ton of sense, I fear that too many
people will once again get wrapped up spending months
planning their business without actually taking action.
That would be a mistake!
No doubt, there will be a time in your business when
you hit the wall - where you approach being burned out,
can't scale your business any farther and risk losing
ground to your competition.
That does pre-suppose that you have already reached a
certain level of success though.
There are many people running individual businesses online
bringing in a few thousand to tens of thousands each
month - still doing the majority of the work themselves.
That should be your first focus.
So, Rich's ideas about mapping systems and outsourcing are
great - but your first focus should be to strategically
select a business rather than a product.
