FEATURE
"
3 Brilliant Ways To Discover Hot Infoproduct Topics"
Its interesting, when I speak to some of the leading
information marketing professionals, there is a
consistent theme about how they struck gold with a
big idea...
1. Many of them simply became active in their market,
and through being more active came across an idea that
really had legs. Being active means, developing a
website, producing a regular newsletter, perhaps
starting a forum, developing a blog, getting out and
meeting your customers. Once you are active, you will
have all the ideas you need to make it big.
2. They tune-in! Most of us spend 90% of the time
talking and the other 10% of the time thinking about
what we are going to say. Turn the tables, spend
more time listening - I mean REALLY listening for signs
of opportunities, pain, questions, dissatisfaction which
often means opportunity.
3. Follow the trends. I just interviewed a highly
successful e-book author last week, she is pulling in
big returns simply because she saw the freight train
called video coming and is good at understanding what her
market wants right now.
First thing you will notice is there is no magic.
Second thing you should notice is that it IS like magic
when you get involved with your market. Suddenly ideas
and opportunities will come from everywhere.
USABLE NEWS:
From The World of Infoproduct Development
** Your Thoughts Will Become Your Things...
What do you really want to accomplish in your life?
More time, more energy, more fulfilling relationships,
and of course, more financial security?
Many personal development systems will have you believe
that thinking positively is enough...garbage!
What is true is that you can attract amazing things
into your life - and standing at the forefront of
teaching these techniques is Dr. Robert Anthony.
He's secretly behind the success of many business top
guns - and I personally have used his methods to realize
goals that seemed far-fetched just mere months ago.
His brand new teachings have just been released here:

Read his amazing story, if you are like me, suddenly
you will be overcome with hope, energy and an
unstoppable ability to produce results in your life.
** HOT Advice From Experience Information Marketers
It's been a busy and powerful week on the
InfoMarketer's Zone private forum:
Here's a few highlights:
...Chris shared a powerful technique he stumbled
upon for getting early testimonials, reviews and
momentum around his first information product - its
easy, painless and highly effective.
...Jason started a great discussion on how to build
and operate effective "name-squeeze" or landing pages
for your information marketing business. He's already
doing some great things, we gave him one single idea
to make it even better.
...We had many threads this week around the topic of
social networking and user generated content - if you
understand the power of these concepts and techniques or
even if you don't, then its important you get up to
speed - the face of marketing is changing very quickly.
Networking and learning from experienced information
marketing professionals - those actually involved in the
industry is not an easy thing to do, but its happening
right now over at:

Hope you can join us in the coming weeks.
** Video Continues To Build Momentum
Yahoo Video "re-launched" its video posting service
adding to the already impressive functionality available
from Google Video, Guba.com and YouTube.
Yahoo seems to have some decent features in this
rollout including:
1. Ability to post your own video
2. Create "channels" which allow you to group
your videos or become part of a group - intersting
from a niche marketing point of view
3. Ability to quickly send notifications of new
video posting through email or Yahoo Instant
Messanger
4. Automatically make your video posting available
through RSS - for those who have jumped on using RSS
readers to follow blogs, podcasts and now, Yahoo
video
It's clear that a great deal of thought went into this
edition of Yahoo video this time around, especially in
terms of ease of use and distribution opportunities -
after all, you want to get your video out to your
prospects in many different ways.
You can see the announcement here:

You can try it yourself here:

We have a terrific interview on the way with an expert in the
area of using video within your information marketing business,
watch for it over at:

** Traffic Generation Tip - Tool Time
I often get asked how to attract people to your
website rather than having to chase them down with
paid advertising or solicitation.
Of course there are many approaches to attracting
traffic including articles, search engine optimization,
forums, etc...
One method that doesn't get the mention it deserves,
but for those that use it, results in huge advantage
in getting traffic is offering tools to your market.
For example, in your subject area, can you think of
a simple spreadsheet calculator you could offer your
market to simplify analysis.
This would work well for topics on insurance, mortgages,
travel savings, small business, financial planning...
anything that involves calculations or numbers.
Other types of tools may include:
- templates or outlines formats
- pre-written content you give away the rights to
- simple software applications that spit out a result
when a set of figures are entered in
You don't have to become a software development genius
or take out a second mortgage - these are simple tools
that can be developed for under $100 (or even by
yourself) that will attract traffic to your site.
** Podcast Update - Rapid Product Development
In case you missed it...we have recently uploaded an
audio podcast discussing 4 critical ways you can speed
up your product development, earn more profits and gain
more momentum within your market.
You will find it here:
